As per yesterday’s meeting, the group has come to the consensus of pushing through with the gigabit switch project as our Christmas gift to ourselves. The contribution for each willing DCWired gay member is P500 pesos. One may also choose to go over P500 if he/she feels generous and thinks this will be for the good of the DCWired community. Those who committed to contribute will have PRIORITY and choice positioning in the Lounge for the upcoming LP’s starting with the Year-ender Grand Xmas LAN Party.

Those who opt not to contribute will have less rights and less priority to use the gigabit switch as well as rig positioning and will have to pay additional P100 pesos for gigabit switch fee, as agreed by the group during yesterday’s meeting.

i.e. LGPap’s LP fee for the Xmas LP is the usual P300, while a member who has not pitched-in his gigabit switch contribution by Dec. 21 will be P400 (300 LP fee+100). This will go on for the succeeding LP’s that he will join until he reaches SIX (6) LP’s making his gigabit switch contribution equal to P600 (100×6 joined LP’s) as opposed to those who committed and paid P500 only with PRIORITY PRIVILEGES by December 21.

A fully paid member like Vision (P1,500 membership), will only be paying P150 this Xmas LP if he has contributed his commitment before the December 21 deadline. Paying early ALWAYS has its perks and benefits.

A member who has committed, HAS TO BE FULLY PAID (P500) on or before the DEADLINE ON DECEMBER 21 to officially on the FINAL PRIVILEGED PRIORITY LIST.

Should the number of contributing members for the gigabit project reach the maximum LP Lounge slot limit, the rig positions and placement priority will be nullified and the first come first served rule applies. Of course, LP Fee has to be paid first.

The contribution list below IS NOT in the order of Priority but simply a list of contributors.

I will be in Manila & Los Baños, Laguna starting Dec.8-Dec.22 for both business and PLEASURE and i may not be able to log on as much as possible. Timmy, Layan and LGfafs will be coordinating to make this project run as smooth as possible. Payments may be left with Wawa at Blinque. Urgent inquiries regarding this matter may be directed to me at 0917-5488233 but please try as much as possible to avoid calling/texting me… ESPECIALLY IN THE EVENING…hehehe (Unless you really miss me na!)

All DCwired members, may they be gay or drag, will have an emergency meeting TODAY 5pm at Blinque. This is VERY URGENT since we have to settle the issue on the “evolved” Xmas Exchange Gift-turned-gift-for-everyone Gigabit switch. It INVOLVES EVERYONE since this will entail a commitment from the members to chip-in for the switch (our Xmas gift to ourselves). The number of members who will commit will decide the consensus of the final amount to be shared. That amount becomes LESS if more members commit to participate. The other issue to be tackled tomorrow is what to do with those who did not contribute to buy the “gigabit switch gift”? Will they be allowed to use the switch? Will they be allowed to join the LP? Do they have the right to join any DCWired LP’s or USE SOMEBODY ELSE’S RIG to play “singit”?

Voice out your concerns tomorrow during the Emergency DCWired Meeting. The timetable is narrowing since the it takes 7-10 days (or more since there are a lot of holidays and weekends plus the volume of sent parcel during the Xmas season) for the Gigabit switch to arrive from the distributor in Manila, and we have YET to test it and do trial runs (leech all 24 ports while gaming) just in case it bogs down and we will have a FAILED Xmas Year-end LAN Party waiting for an RMA-ed gigabit switch. So please be there tomorrow and finalize! Be involved, be counted…

“We are DCWired and THIS is what we do…”

PLans:
Since mag anniversary ta this coming sat. daghan mn jud ta ana. mag bunot2x nata daan para sa nxt xmas LP.
Tagpila ang amount. well mag sabot sabot pata ana dri sa forum. majority wins.

Lista lng who wants to join. and desired amount sa amot. and your wish list.

Layan: i think d ma 2loy ang exchage gift. buti pa kc e pang amot bili ng gigabit switch nlng. para ma gamit ntn every LP. kawawa nung gus2 mag leech last lp. grabeh talga ka hina. I think the officer will call out a meeting regarding this topic.

Sherwin: Yupyup! Tama jud si Layan… bale yung i-allocate sana natin na cash for the Exchange gift sa mabubunot mo na manito, we still dish it out but will go to buying a new gigabit switch that was STOLEN so in effect, parang we gave everyone else an exchange gift to everybody else that is and will be VERY VERY useful to all of us for a long long time! Cool!…and not just gave a gift to one person during this season of giving…

What do you say about Layan’s Idea gays? Ok ba ito sa atin?

Layan: hehehe… FYI… not my idea. I think it was timmy or pusit. kalimot nako.ehehehe option nila to.hehehe I think it was good idea pud.ehehe

since kita kyo ang needs sa gigabit switch tong last lp. so up up for this.

himo nlng ta new thread about this topic. pra d ma gulo dito. ok ok…

Guys, please label your amounts PROPERLY to avoid confusion. Seryoso baya ni nga sabot kay ang imong gi-pledge/gi-commit singilon before XMAS to purchase the new gigabit switch before the Xmas LP.
2.) Lounge Keep concerns

3.) DCW Community documents submissions

Opening remarks started by the Presiding Officer. The first agenda was tackled concerning the upcoming Lan Party on October 24, 2009 specifically on the problem of lack of an air conditioning unit. First option was to confirm a friend of Mr. Timothy Te on the AC unit his friend was selling. We were doubtful on the condition of the AC unit and if the asking price was worth the purchase. Second option was to buy a brand new 2HP AC unit in an instalment scheme of payment which was available in many appliance stores. Mr. Eman Porio was willing to lend his credit line to avail such a purchase. We computed for the expenses to be accumulated – the payment scheme and the funds allocation for such a purchase and found that it was possible to make such an investment for the DCW Community. We opted for the second option and planned to make the purchase within this week. Installation of the AC would be endorsed to Mr. Timothy Te.

We talked about the collection of the LP fees and the amount to be collected. It was approved that P300 will be the LP fee for this October 24 except for those who already paid P1,500.00 yearly registration fee. Collection will be done through PCLINQUE c/o Wawa and or Patrick Andong. It was also suggested that all participants of the October 24, 2009 LP must pay the LP fee before setting up their units inside the DCW Lounge. No pay no setup rule was firmly established. It was also agreed that all payments for the LP this October 24 will be allocated primarily for the event’s incurred expenses.

It was suggested that P300 was to be allocated as payment for the Blinque Technician who will setup and check the cabling of the lounge.

Timothy Te was tasked to create a DCW LP Committee existing for this October 24, 2009 LP to organize the event and to coordinate with other committees for the success of the LP. He was also tasked to direct for the cleaning of the DCW lounge before the LP event date.

After this, we talked about the different documents to be submitted to Mr. Matthew Irasga which are:

List of all members with their respective contributions

Eman Porio agreed to take responsibility on creating the list of all incorporators and Officers. And he entrusted the list of all members with their respective contributions to the Finance committee head, Patrick Andong.

This would serve as the basic information database for all members of the DCW Community. This was entrusted to the HR Committee headed by Lorenzo Ramirez and was asked by the President to submit it within this week.

The president also brought up that he will ask Seven to create the Mission and Vision of the DCW Community.
